It was made for the people!
What was the biggest inspiration for making this album?
For me, this mix is just an overview of creativity through technology and amazing music. That’s what I have been doing during the summer – creating special edits in real time – and I wanted to put this in a CD.
How and where did you make it?
I made it at the studio during the summer of 2011.
What was the biggest challenge you faced while making it?
The biggest challenge is always to record without a crowd in front of you. Recording in the studio is very quiet compared to clubs, so that is always a challenge,
What does this album say about you?
I’m someone who loves evolving, taking things from the present and my thoughts from the past, and merging them into a new way of DJing. So this album is a piece of me.
What’s the best reaction you’ve had to the album so far?
People have been talking about how good – or bad – it is to have four tracks running together…
If you had to pick a favourite track from the album, which would it be?
Pepe Bradock’s mess! I love this music!
What’s the ideal setting for listening to this album?
You have to find this out for yourself. But it’s good for turning on the motors before going out!
What do you think makes an album stand the test of time?
I don t know – you tell me…
