STU TODD catches up with Zombie Nation to find out more about ZZT, his collaborative project with Tiga, which by happy coincidence is just about to drop its debut album…
When Zombie Nation blasted his way into clubs back in 1999 with Kernkraft 400, more than a few people would have had him pegged as a one-hit wonder. But fast forward 12 years, and Florian Senfter is still going strong. In fact, you could argue that he’s bigger than ever. Or at least he will be soon when Partys Over Earth – the debut album from Florian and Tiga’s ZZT project – drops. Check out EQTV’s review of the album for an insight want to expect, but in a nutshell, this longplayer offers up the duo’s own take on the electro techno sound coming out of Germany and France at the moment. And it’s going to be big.
So with Florian playing Edinburgh’s emerging underground music diamond mine, Sneaky Petes, EQTV collared him after his set to grill him about how the album was constructed and his views on THAT track…
