November 25 sees The Vaults in Birmingham celebrate its fourth birthday in style with ground-breaking DJ Greg Wilson taking to the decks. With more than 35 years of DJing experience under his belt, Greg is one of the most important figures in electronic music. From pioneering mixing back in the 80s to brining post-disco sounds of New York, he’s been instrumental in making club culture what it is today. His Credit To The Edit compilations are an education and a joy to listen to, and we’ve got no reason to doubt his set at The Vaults will be any different. Merseyside’s best loved DJ comes to The Vaults. Greg is widely regarded as the one of the founding fathers in the dance music scene, whether it is in the depths of the infamous Wigan Pier or the Acid coated walls of The Hacienda, let’s just say that Greg has been there and done that. Many time’s over.
The Vaults will be celebrating our 4th birthday and what better way to do this than have Greg on board, bringing his ‘old school’ vibe along the way. Keeping with our Iconic theme we will also have local stalwart Matt Mckillop from DeepCitySoul as good measure to take you in to the early hours.
