Steve and Chris – aka The Martinez Brothers – talk us through their latest house gem, The Issshhh EP on Objektivity
The Martinez Brothers
Issshhh EP [The Causeway, Issshhh (Main Mix), Issshhh (Beats)]
Describe the Issshhh EP in five words.
House, house, groove, bottom and house!
What is it about this record that will appeal to the fans?
Well, we try to have all of our records sound different from each other as well as sound different to everything else on the market, so if the fans appreciate that, they’ll definitely appreciate Issshhh.
How does it differ from your last release?
We’re still new in the production game and still have a lot to learn, but our goal is to always put out quality music, and have every release better then the next. This release is our favourite so far – we really like the way the tracks came out. Sonically, the tracks are better than before – we just try to improve with every release.
What was the inspiration for this release?
We love making simple, raw tracks – nothing fancy – and it was no different with this release.
If you had the chance to play this in any club, which would it be?
Panorama Bar!
